We got to go to St. George for a conference that Chris attended for work. We had so much fun! And it was soooooooooo nice to enjoy some lovely weather. We enjoyed time with Grandpa and Grandma Day and Kaylee was thrilled to find out she had another set of grandparents that love and adore her. We played mini golf, swam, and spent time just playing in the park. One day while Chris was in classes, the girls and I went with Grandpa and Grandma for a long walk to the park. Grandpa even went down the slides with Kaylee. We had a wonderful time and the girls got their first sunburn of the year (oops). Here are some fun pictures.
We quickly reentered reality on the way home when I dropped Chris off to coach a soccer game and hurried to Provo to drop off my girls and go to class. It was nice while it lasted though. So nice in fact, we are going again next weekend. Our friends are letting us use their parents' condo. We already need another break from the snow. Snow! Can you believe it? It's April and still snowing. We can only hope for a brighter future with warm summer days and a backyard of green grass. Yes, ours is a life of sadness and lost hope indeed. Just Kidding!
